At Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio, our instructors are more than teachers—they’re mentors, role models, and passionate artists who are dedicated to helping every dancer grow. With experience across a range of styles and levels, our team creates a supportive environment where dancers feel encouraged, challenged, and inspired.

Tricia Marshall

Owner & Director

Tricia Marshall is the proud owner of Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio, now celebrating over 20 seasons of inspiring young dancers. A former New England Patriots cheerleader, Tricia brings professional experience and a passion for performance to every class. Her greatest joy is sharing her love of dance and choreography with her students.

Catherine Bussiere

Summer Intensives/Guest Choreographer

Catherine Bussiere grew up dancing at Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio and graduated in 2023. She is currently a member of the Sacred Heart University Dance Company in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she focuses on contemporary dance. Trained in a wide range of styles, Catherine has been teaching and choreographing since the age of 15. She is grateful to continue teaching at Miss Tricia’s, a place she considers home.

Lexie Carey

Summer Intensives/Guest Choreographer

Lexie Carey, originally from Stow, Massachusetts, began her dance training at Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio. She later joined Project Moves Dance Company at The Gold School, where she focused on concert dance styles. After graduating high school, Lexie continued her training at the CLI Conservatory under the direction of Teddy Forance, expanding her experience in commercial dance. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Commercial Dance at Pace University.

Angela Carter

Ballet

Angela Carter began her professional dance career at age 14 with the Houston Ballet and has since performed with companies including Ballet Concerto, Milwaukee Ballet, and Ballet New England. She has held roles such as Principal Dancer, Ballet Mistress, School Director, and Nutcracker Director, and has taught as a guest instructor across the East Coast. Angela currently teaches ballet and lyrical to middle school and intensive dancers, as well as adult ballet and wedding dance classes.

Hillary Desmond

Guest Choreographer

Hillary Desmond is a graduate of the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in pedagogy, graduating summa cum laude in 2023. She completed an internship with Boston Ballet School and went on to teach in their Children’s Program.

Hillary now teaches and choreographs dancers ages 4–18, bringing a strong foundation in technique and creative development to every class.

Flora Dickens

Guest Choreographer

Flora Dickens is an accomplished dancer who began her journey in the competitive circuit, earning top honors, scholarships, and recognition for her original choreography. In 2018, she was awarded a scholarship to the Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive by YAGP’s Larissa Saveliev after placing 1st in contemporary and 2nd in classical. Flora is classically and commercially trained across multiple styles and has worked privately with renowned dancer Alex Wong.

Rory Freeman

Contemporary

Rory Freeman is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator with credits including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America's Got Talent, and Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" music video. He has toured internationally with MOMIX and performed in Sonya Tayeh's full-length NYC production You Still Call Me By Name. Rory holds a BFA in Modern Dance from SUNY Purchase and has worked with top artists like Paula Abdul and Earth, Wind & Fire. He is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Move: The Initiative, a dance intensive based in Rhode Island.

Naimah Fernandes

Guest Choreographer

Naimah Fernandes began her dance training at the age of eight in Boston, Massachusetts. She continued her education at The Gold School, where she became a member of Project Moves Dance Company—an experience that played a significant role in her artistic development. After graduating in 2024, Naimah furthered her training at the CLI Conservatory, working with leading industry professionals. Her experiences have shaped both her technical foundation and her passion for teaching and sharing the art of dance.

Grace Goldberg

Acro/Hip Hop/Preschool

Grace Goldberg is a dance educator and coach who teaches acro, hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary to dancers of all ages. She works with both recreational and competitive students, emphasizing strong technique, confidence, performance, and a love of movement.

Grace is also a competitive gymnastics coach and high school cheer coach. She studied dance at the University of Tampa and earned her bachelor's degree in Dance and Business from Salem State University. She is passionate about building strong, confident, hardworking athletes.

Maria Guarente

Tap

Maria Guarente is a dance educator with a passion for inspiring dancers of all ages. She is committed to building strong technique, confidence, and artistry while creating a positive, supportive environment where every student can grow and develop a lifelong love of dance.

Jenny Livolsi

Jazz/Lyrical/Hip Hop/Cheer

Jenny Livolsi began her dance training at Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio, where she spent 15 years developing her passion for dance. She continued her education at Stonehill College, earning degrees in Early Childhood Education and Dance, and performing with the Stoneworks Dance Company.

After graduating, Jenny returned to Maynard, where she teaches kindergarten and serves as an instructor for both competitive and recreational classes at Miss Tricia’s. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where every dancer feels encouraged, confident, and a sense of belonging.

Kayla Luoma

Production/Guest Choreographer

Kayla Luoma is a dance educator, choreographer, and adjudicator with a lifelong passion for dance. A graduate of Dean College with an Associate of Arts in Dance, she trained under her grandfather, Jim Caisse, and mother, Melissa Caisse, and later co-directed their family dance studio.

Kayla was a Top 50 finalist at the So You Think You Can Dance Seasons 8 and 10 auditions and currently serves as an adjudicator and choreographer for High Demand and Dancin' in the Streets dance competitions. She is passionate about inspiring dancers through strong technique, artistry, and confidence.

Kaylee “Impavido” Millis

Improv & Mentoring

Kaylee “Impavido” Millis is a Boston native and versatile performer known for her unique fusion of styles. At 18, she placed in the Top 5 on So You Think You Can Dance Season 14 and went on to tour nationwide. She has danced for major artists including Halsey, Janet Jackson, and MC Hammer, while continuing to teach and inspire dancers around the world.

Haley Simmons

Preschool Dance

Haley Simmons teaches preschool and kindergarten classes at Miss Tricia’s Dance Studio, where she first began her own dance training. Having grown up at the studio, she is honored to now be part of the teaching staff. With a background in early childhood education, Haley creates a nurturing and playful environment where young dancers build confidence, coordination, and a love for dance.

Serena St. Sauveur

Lyrical/Jazz/Production

Serena St. Sauveur began her dance training at Ta-Dah! Studio of Dance, where she trained through graduation. She continued her education at Stonehill College, studying dance and performing with the Stoneworks Dance Company. Since graduating, Serena has developed a passion for teaching and choreography, and she loves sharing her enthusiasm for dance with her students. Outside the studio, she works as an accountant and enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog.
