MTDS On Stage: 2026 Recital

Every dance class, every rehearsal, every correction, and every moment of hard work led to one unforgettable weekend.
On June 13, our dancers took the stage for two incredible recital performances, celebrating a season filled with growth, dedication, and unforgettable memories. From our tiniest performers making their stage debut to our oldest dancers lighting up the stage with confidence and artistry, every performance reminded us why we love what we do.
The excitement backstage was just as memorable as the performances themselves. Costumes sparkled, friendships grew stronger, and dancers cheered one another on as they prepared to perform for family and friends.
One of the highlights of the day was the return of our annual Dad Dance—a favorite MTDS tradition that had the audience laughing, cheering, and singing along. This year's dads brought incredible energy to the stage with a fun mash-up of iconic hits from Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, and Barbie, proving once again that they're always willing to step out of their comfort zone to create unforgettable memories with their dancers. It was the perfect reminder that dance is something families experience together.
The recital is so much more than a performance—it's a celebration of an entire year of learning, perseverance, teamwork, and personal growth. Watching our dancers grow in confidence from their very first class in September to their final bow in June is one of the greatest joys of the season.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible dance families for your endless support throughout the year, our talented instructors and staff for inspiring every dancer, our volunteers for helping recital weekend run so smoothly, and of course, to our amazing dance dads for stealing the show once again!
Congratulations to every MTDS dancer on an incredible season. We couldn't be prouder of everything you accomplished, and we already can't wait to see what next year brings.
